Review by hotel critic
During my recent New Year getaway, Podere Sette Piagge in the heart of Umbria enchanted not just me but my travel companions as well. Nestled a mere 15 minutes from the historic charm of Orvieto, this beautiful property offers an oasis of peace, surrounded by rolling hills and vibrant gardens. Our spacious room, adorned with local Orvieto handicrafts, was impeccably clean and offered stunning views-a perfect retreat after exploring the region's rich beer culture. The highlight, however, was the delightful breakfast served outdoors under a canopy of strawberry grapes, featuring homemade cakes and fresh produce straight from the garden. Francesca and her family treated us like dear friends, ensuring we felt at home throughout our stay. Whether it was indulging in breakfast or enjoying a leisurely stroll along the ancient Etruscan path, the warm hospitality was evident at every turn. If you're heading to Italy, don't miss out on this hidden gem-it's an unforgettable blend of comfort, charm, and culinary delights!
